Fire damages structure
This residence was damaged after a lightning strike caused a fire in the attic of the home. The fire spread through out the 2nd story of the home damaging both the structure and the contents. Secondary damage was the water damage incurred due to the fire being extinguished as well as the roof being open to the outside elements. After packing up the house and moving all contents, SERVPRO of North Roanoke County was able to clean the soot and smoke, as well as water remediation. The home did have to be rebuilt from the second story up and the homeowners could not be happier with their "new home".
